Fire and life safety educator, Rick VanAsdlen, of the Minooka Fire Dept. helps teach a mom the correct way to install a baby seat. Boys Scouts from Troop 444 in Channahon provided information on hiking safety and first aid. Local residents enjoyed hot dogs, chips and drinks cooked and served by Rotarians and their families. Rotarian Tina Zugel takes a photo of child for his KidCare photo ID. Exelon sponsored the photograph equipment. Rotarian Kris Stadalsky (right) gets her body mass index (BMI) checked at the Morris Hospital table.
Channahon Police fitted and handed out free bike helmets to dozens of kids. Channahon Post Office had forms and help available to make applying for passports easy. Chief cooks and bottle washers Rotarian Harry McSteen and his kids Moira and Harry Jr.
